Skip ahead to the note

Before You Start Reading Here

The notebook has grown to cover a fair amount of ground. Here is a map, so you can head straight for the part you need.

Screens, networks and software

Tech is the largest section. It covers streaming boxes and apps, home networks, VPNs, AI tools and creative software. Good first reads: how to choose a router for your home and setting up IPTV step by step.

Running a small business

Business deals with invoicing, factoring, payment platforms, search visibility, logistics and marketing. Start with writing an invoice clients pay on time.

Property and the home

Rules, money and paperwork

  • Legal and The Law: courts, visas, insurance and contracts, always in general terms. See how to file a small claims case.
  • Loan: how particular borrowing products are structured.
  • Forex Trading: explanations of trading styles and markets. Background reading only; we do not offer trading services or signals.

Trips and vehicles

  • Travel: solo trips, event transport, relocations and places worth knowing about.
  • Cars: odd noises, start-up quirks and insurance questions.

How to read a note

Each article opens with the answer or the first step, then fills in the detail. Tables compare options. Where something depends on your location, provider or contract, you will see a line telling you to check locally or ask a professional. Take that line seriously; it is there for a reason.

Three ways to browse

  1. By section. The menu at the top covers the main sections and this page links to all of them. Each section page lists its notes newest first.
  2. By task. Titles that start with "How to" walk through a single job from start to finish.
  3. By the front page. The homepage keeps the latest notes in view, with short summaries to help you choose.

Watch the date line

Every post shows its date. Software and rules change, so a note from a few years back may describe an older version. If something no longer matches what you see, let us know.

The four behind the notes

A small team of pen names, introduced on The Crew and the Plan. The site's purpose is summed up on About Newbold Business Notes.
